DARWIN
The 13.8 Billionth
Awards
With host CHARLES Darwin
Charles ‘Award Show Host’ Darwin
This puppet has it all. It is a convertible: Darwin can be either a walk-around marionette or a ventriloquist puppet. He features 10 award cards, a microphone, and a red carpet ready to roll out at a moment’s notice.
(OMG THE BEARD TOOK FOREVER. Not sure it’s finished now!)

The Darwin AWARDS
The Darwin Awards are a rhetorical tongue-in-cheek honor that originated in Usenet newsgroup discussions around 1985. They recognize individuals who have supposedly contributed to human evolution by selecting themselves out of the gene pool by dying or becoming sterilized by their own actions.
The project became more formalized with the creation of a website in 1993, followed by a series of books starting in 2000 by Wendy Northcutt. The criterion for the awards states: "In the spirit of Charles Darwin, the Darwin Awards commemorate individuals who protect our gene pool by making the ultimate sacrifice of their own lives. Darwin Award winners eliminate themselves in an extraordinarily idiotic manner, thereby improving our species' chances of long-term survival."
There’s also a movie on NETFLIX.
Not affiliated with any of that. But we should be, because we got CHARLES FRICKEN DARWIN
Charles Darwin (1809–1882) was an English naturalist and biologist best known for his revolutionary theory of evolution by natural selection. His 1859 book, On the Origin of Species, established the idea that all life is connected through a "tree of life" and has evolved from a common ancestor through a process of inherited variation and adaptation.
It is impossible to overstate Charles Darwin’s influence on modern science. Nasa’s definition of life (what we’re looking for on other planets) includes his name “A self-sustaining chemical system capable of Darwinian evolution"
The full name of his big book is pretty cringy, though: On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, Or, The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life and almost always shortened to On the Origin of the species (an ellipsis is NEVER included lol)
“Style counts, not everyone who dies from their own stupidity can win”
