Tigger, the exuberant, bouncing tiger from Winnie-the-Pooh, originated as a stuffed toy belonging to Christopher Robin Milne, A.A. Milne's son. He first appeared in the 1928 story collection The House at Pooh Corner. Disney later introduced Tigger in the 1968 animated featurette Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day.
